About the project
A young family asked us to transform a narrow city kitchen into an open, welcoming centre for everyday life. The existing layout separated cooking from dining and left valuable wall space underused.
We reorganised the room around a generous island, full-height cabinetry, and a clear working triangle. Pale oak, honed stone, and softly textured finishes bring warmth to the minimal architecture while reflecting natural light deeper into the home.
Every detail was designed to feel effortless, from concealed appliance storage to integrated seating. The result is a composed kitchen that supports busy mornings, relaxed meals, and larger gatherings with equal ease.
Project execution
The project was developed through close coordination with the cabinetmaker, lighting consultant, and contractor. Full-scale material samples helped us refine the balance between the timber grain, stone surface, and painted joinery.
During installation, we reviewed alignment, clearances, and lighting positions on site to preserve the clean visual rhythm of the design.
