About the project
This living room was conceived as both an elegant setting for entertaining and a comfortable retreat for quiet evenings. The clients wanted richness and character without sacrificing the lightness of the original architecture.
We introduced curved furniture, tactile upholstery, and dark timber accents to create depth against the room's pale envelope. A tonal rug anchors the seating arrangement, while metal and stone details add a subtle sense of occasion.
Artwork and collected objects give the scheme its personal character. Each piece has space to breathe, allowing the room to feel refined and expressive rather than formal or crowded.
Project execution
We began with a detailed furniture plan that balanced conversation, circulation, and views. Custom upholstery and carefully proportioned tables were then developed around the scale of the room.
The final layer combined commissioned artwork, vintage objects, and adjustable lighting to create different moods throughout the day.
